Making The Most Of Not Having To Wear A Coat.

I don't think there are many of these days left, as closely approaching winter coat weather (although as this post goes up, I'm pretty sure no-coat season has past).

I always find this in between seasons weather a tricky one. It's chilly, but boiling with a coat. And when I'm traipsing round London, on the underground, the last thing I want is to be lugging round a heavy coat.

It might have taken me a long time to figure out, but I think I've finally found the perfect outfit to solve this problem.

These black culottes from Zara are super thick so keep you warm, but don't make you boil either. In the winter I tend to live in jeans, so these are a great alternative just before the winter kicks in - and they go with absolutely everything!

This jumper is also from Zara, although from a few seasons ago. However, there are so many on the high street that look similar. The colour and spacing of the stripes make it incredibly flattering, as well as it being really long, so you don't have to worry about it looking lumpy when tucked in. It's also a really cosy, thick fabric which keeps you very warm too.

Oh, and my trusty Cambridge Satchel Company 'Poppy' bag never ceases to fail me for a day of shopping.

And as the daylight disappears, and the cold sets in, find a cosy coffee shop and treat yourself to a hot chocolate. We came across Aubaine on Heddon Street and it was the perfect spot to warm ourselves up and rest our exhausted feet from a day of shopping.
