August Favourites.

It's official! I am completely obsessed with Glossier. When I went to New York last month I picked up the Stretch Concealer and I think I'd go as far to say it's my favourite concealer ever (bold statement I know!). It's so creamy and light, yet so buildable, so can coverup any type of blemish, or just be used to even out your skin tone. The formula is unlike any concealer I've used before, and you get so much product. I've been using it every day for over a month and it looks barely touched.

Therefore, I couldn't go to Glossier and not buy the iconic Milky Jelly Cleanser. This was a product I was so intrigued by because there has been such a huge hype around it. I use is mostly as a second cleanse, or in the mornings as soon as I wake up. It's such a gentle product, with a big impact. It's definitely a product for everyone. However, I'm nearly at the half way point with it, so am desperately waiting on Glossier to come to the UK.

I can't believe how long it's taken for me to try the It Cosmetics CC Cream because it has been my go to product this month (and I know will be for many more). CC cream is a bit misleading, because it actually is really full coverage. However, it still feels really light on the skin like a CC cream would. It also has to be one of the glowiest products I've ever used, so even though I'm loving the glowy look at the moment, it definitely requires a little powdering.

I had a denim skirt last summer from New Look, and only wore it a few times. It was just uncomfortable and rode up every time I moved. This summer I kept seeing girls wearing denim skirts and just love the way it looks, so I went on the hunt for one. I ended up finding one in Topshop which I loved, however much like all the other ones I tried on was really short. What I decided to do was try on the 'tall' style and it's perfect. I'm not tall, so it was the perfect length for me and is easily one of my most worn pieces this summer.

The book 'Face' by Pixiwoo came out in October last year and I was so excited. Pixiwoo are one of my favourite makeup artists on YouTube, so I queued up in Selfridges and got my copy signed by them (and were super lovely may I add). I flicked through the book and played around with the app when I got home, but uni took over and the book got pushed to one side. This month I dusted it off and read it properly and my God was I impressed. If you have any interest in makeup and skincare, this is the book for you. Not only is it a fascinating read, but the pictures are beautiful, and the interactive app is a lot of fun too.

One of the beauty products of the summer, that everyone is talking about is the L'Oreal Paradise Mascara. I couldn't not see what the fuss was about, and I'm so glad I bought it. It is one of the best mascaras I've tried in a very long time. Although it's a pain to get off, it's worth it for the effect it gives. Expect a full review on this soon.

I could write a book about my new found obsession with Riverdale, so I'll try my best to keep this brief. I was looking for a new TV series to get into, and my sister recommended Riverdale so I thought I'd give it a try. Little did I know how much I would get into it. It's nothing too complex; basically a group of teenagers to uncover lots of dark secrets about their small town. Watch the trailer and you'll see what I mean. Luckily series two starts soon, and I cannot wait!

Don't worry, I'm not going to ramble for ages about how much I love Taylor Swift's new song 'Look What You Made Me Do'. All you need to know is I love it, and I love the music video even more. It definitely took a few listens before I got it, but now I have it on repeat all day. I think Taylor is a complete genius... bring on 10th November.
