May Favourites.

L'Oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water
This, like most of my purchases these days can be blamed on Lydia Elise Millen. She's my ultimate girl crush right now, so when she says a product is amazing, I'm keen to try it too. She's a girl with impeccable taste, and a penchant for high end products, so when she recommends something high street, I know it must be good. And this is no exception. It is the most hydrating product I've ever tried. It's so cooling on my skin which drinks it up, leaving it soft and hydrated. It also smells incredible too, which is always a plus.

Charlotte Tilbury Overnight Bronze and Glow Mask
I got very excited when I saw Charlotte Tilbury was releasing a product claiming to not only make your face look more tanned, but also glowy. As soon as I could get my hands on it I did. I'm always a little reluctant to buy Charlotte Tilbury skincare, just because it's so expensive and I've not always got on with her skincare products, unlike her makeup which is a guaranteed success. However, I was willing to take the risk, and it definitely paid off. It really does exactly what it says. If you're someone who always feels like they have to wear makeup, give this a try.

L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation
When I first purchased this a year ago, I didn't quite know what to make of it. Sometimes I liked it, but it would take ages to apply, other days it just looked cakey and separated on my skin. I don't know what changed, but I came back to it recently and can't get enough of it. I've been applying it with a damp sponge, and although it does take a little longer to apply, the finish is beautiful and dewy. Also, it wears really well throughout the day, which is something I have difficulty with. It's definitely a foundation worth persevering with.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat
An oldie but a goodie. I got a new Touche Éclat at the beginning of the year in shade 1 as the lady said it is a universal shade. When I started using it, it felt like the completely wrong colour - way to peachy for my red undertone. So I recently started applying it before my foundation and it is amazing for neutralising my skin tone. It's become a staple in my daily makeup routine.

John Mayer is one my favourite singers ever (maybe even my no.1), so since the release of his new album, combined with seeing him at the O2 this month, I've been on a bit of a John Mayer high recently and had this album one repeat the whole time. Such an easy listen throughout the summer.

White Gold
I'm not going to lie, the only reason I planned on watching this was because Ed Westwick is in it. However, when I found out a bit more about it, like the fact is also stars James Buckley and Joe Thomas, and that it's written by the same writers of The Inbetweeners I got very excited about it. There is no way I can explain it to do it justice, but if you like The Inbetweeners and Ed Westwick, then you'll completely love this too.

Nashville
I've keep checking I haven't put this is the last few months favourites, because I can't believe I haven't mentioned it before. I love getting into new TV series, and usually go for crime shows, so thought I would find something different. I've recently been into country music, and Sky recommended Nashville, so I thought I'd give it ago. However, starting it a few weeks before my dissertation deadline was a mistake because I became instantly hooked. Now I'm up to date I don't know how I'm going to cope having to wait a week for each new episode. It's got everything in from romance, drama, crime, politics, and great music (which I am listening to as I write this post) - what more could you want?

Country Music
I've been really getting into country music over the past year, however, my recent love for the genre is definitely Nashville enabled. I came across Sophia Scott on YouTube and am completely obsessed with her voice. I think I've now watched every one of her covers and I'm still not bored yet.
Other country singers I've had on repeat include Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt, Little Big Town, Willie Nelson (I feel completely ridiculous attaching a link for him!), and my absolute favourite Chris Stapleton. And of course I have had all the Nashville soundtracks on repeat too - season 1 is my fave!
