The Girly Girl Who Likes Trainers.

As someone who has pretty much always been a girly girl when it comes to fashion, trainers have never been something I've ever really owned. However, over the past few years, the 'athleisure'/sporty tend has been everywhere. It's a look I've always liked but never thought I could pull off. However, I'm someone who chooses comfort over style any day of the week, so when you can have both, I couldn't resist so bought a few pairs of trainers.

The first is my classic red Keds. These are perfect if you want to wear trainers but don't normally wear them. They're like a basic pair of pumps, so can be worn with pretty much everything. They are also the comfiest shoes I own and were kind of a life saver when I spend five days at Disney world a few years ago. You can also get them in so many different colours and styles, so there's a style for everyone.

These are the most recent addition to my shoe collection. I had put off buying these for such a long time, just because everyone is wearing them, and I just wasn't sure I'd suit them. However, I noticed ASOS had an offer on and I couldn't resist. They're definitely the kind of shoes that'll get better the more worn they are. They are also incredibly comfortable, something which converse aren't! I got the white and navy classic Stan Smiths, but there are so many versions available!

You can't go wrong with a classic converse. I've had a pink pair for about 7 years now, and even though they're still going strong, they've now been demoted as dog walking trainers. So last year I decided to get a new pair, and was going to get the generic cream ones. However, the crisp white style caught my eye, and I couldn't resist. Although they're not my most comfortable shoes, I still get so much wear out of them and they're still white! I should mention though that you should buy the size down, it makes them way more comfortable.

Finally my Nikes. I bought them when I went to America a couple of years ago because they were such a bargain. The whole trainers look was such a big thing, that's what I thought I'd wear them for. However I never really wore them, until recently when I joined the gym. Turns out they're actually really comfortable for working out, as well as looking good!
