Tanya Burr Cosmetics: The Hollywood Eye

Since Tanya Burr released her cosmetics line in 2014 I have slowly been acquiring various products from the collection. Two years later, I seem to have almost as much Tanya Burr Cosmetics products as my other favourite high street brands.

To begin with the only reason I bought any of her products was because I am a fan, and wanted to support her. But the more I bought, the more I realised that I actually really love the products and am a fan of the makeup just as much as I am a fan of her.

The product I want to talk about today, my favourite from the collection, is the Hollywood Eye Palette. It is a quad made up of four georgeous eye shadows. You can use all four shadows or just one, creating so many different looks. I also think it is the only palette from the collection which will suit everyone.

The eye shadows are super pigmented, which I love because it means they're very buildable depending on what kind of look you're after. The colours look exactly as in the pictures here, except 'gold coin', which looks much more golden and shimmery than in these images.  I'm a sucker for a gold smoky eye, and this sums that up in a palette.

The only thing I do find, is that with the eyeshadow 'enchanted', there is quite a lot of fall out. It is a much different texture to the other shadows which could be why. However, for the price and quality the product as a whole, I can hardly fault it.

What I noticed almost straight away is what a great dupe it is for the Charlotte Tilbury 'Golden Goddess' palette. They are almost identical. Obviously the quality doesn't compare to Charlotte Tilbury, but I tell you, it is pretty darn close, for just a fraction of the price.

I seriously recommend this palette as well as so many other products from her collection. It's clear a lot of hard work and passion has been put into these products, and it really has paid off.

If you want to see the palette in action, Tanya shows you here.

Buy the palette here, but I must warn you, it's a best seller, so grab it while you can!
