Product Review: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

This is probably one of the most raved about products among beauty bloggers and YouTubers. They all talk about how amazing it is, so I couldn't not ever try it.

You might remember my post a couple of months back, about the NARS Sheer Glow foundation. In that review I mentioned the lengths I had to go to, to find a pump. Well when I did eventually find one, I couldn't help but pick up one of the concealers whilst I was there.

So, I've been using it for quite some time now, and thought it was about time I wrote a review too.

I was in between the shades 'vanilla' and 'custard', but I always go lighter if I'm unsure when it comes to base products, especially concealer, so I opted for 'vanilla'.

Now, one of the biggest makeup problems I have is mascara transfer on my eye lids and under my eyes. I've found that this concealer doesn't allow my mascara to cling to sick or it as much. I do still have the problem, but with this concealer I notice the problem isn't nearly as bad.

As the name suggests, it is a very thick, creamy consistency. Although it is thick, it isn't too cakey. Saying that I find that on my nose, where I am most oily, it does look a little cakey and slips off if I don't keep applying powder throughout the day. However because of the creamy consistency it is so easy to blend. I like to use either my fingers or the Real Techniques Setting Brush to blend it, which leaves a really lovely finish.

It is though incredibly long lasting, which as someone with really oily skin, is difficult to find in a concealer. Because of this I do think it is worth the splurge.

At £22, it is expensive, especially as there are some really great drugstore concealers out there, however it is a great product and lasts a long time so I do think it is worth buying.

One other thing I wanted to mention, and is actually a bit strange, but I've really noticed recently that when I apply it near or on my nose it really makes my nose run. At first I thought it was the cold I had, but it has been happening for ages now, and only when I use this concealer. It might seem like an odd thing to mention, but it is so annoying when I've done my makeup and I have to blow my nose! I have never heard this happen to anybody else so it could just be me!

Buy the concealer here.
