Product Review: John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner

I'm quite fussy when it comes to shampoo and conditioners, but I don't like trying lots out, becuase if I don't like them I feel like it is the biggest waste of money.

So when I come across ones I like I am very loyal and stick to them until I get bored.

My current, and favourite for a long time now is the John Frieda Sheer Blonde 'Highlight Activating Shampoo and Conditioner for lighter blondes' (whoa, what a mouthful!).

First of all it smells delightful, which is extremely important in any hair product. And not just a bit fruity or sweet, but i'm talking 'just walked out of the hairdressers' kinda smell.

A little goes a long way too - you really only need a small amount of product, so the bottles last ages as well.

As far as the good it does for your hair, the list is endless. It protects your hair from any damage from colour and as the name suggests, stops any highlights or colour from fading. It also makes my hair feel silky smooth for days!

It is also quite a thick product, so feels really luxurious. It's often on offer in Superdrug, but if not I think it is definitely worth the little extra cost compared to the basic drugstore brands. I do however think it is quite similar to the L'Oreal Elvive Nourish and Shimmer Highlights shampoo and conditioner.

John Frieda have lots of different variations in the Sheer Blonde range, which claim to do different things but to be honest, I have tried out a couple of the blonde shampoo and conditioners and they are all very similar.

Buy the shampoo and conditioner.
