Album Review: George Ezra 'Wanted On A Voyage'

I only heard about George Ezra about two weeks ago. It was when I heard 'Budapest' on one of the music channels and loved the song straight away. However, when I saw who he was I was surprised. I don't think he looks like he sings!!

Anyway, the album. I really love it. It isn't like anything I have ever really bought before. It has a real folky and slight bluesy feel to the whole thing. It is quite a chill out album, which I can imagine myself listening to whilst sunbathing on the beach or round the pool on holiday.

The album sounds even better live. He did a surprise performance at Glastonbury this year on the Introducing Stage and then his performance on the John Peel Stage and blew me away on both occasions. I love new artists like George who do it properly. By that I mean I like how he writes his own songs and is incredible live. There is no gimmicks with him. I also think the album may do well at the BRITS next year - just a hunch though!

I think he'll be one to watch in British music this year (remember you heard it here fist)!!!

My favourite tracks on the album...
Cassy O'
Blame It On Me
Listen To The Man
Over The Creek
