Come Along With Me: The BRIT Awards 2014

I was lucky enough to go to the BRIT Awards on Wednesday with my Dad as part of my 18th Birthday. I had the most wonderful time and it certainly lived up to my high expectations of the event (despite criticisms in the media).
I decided on glam make up as it was the BRITS! Because of this I did't do much with my face. However I thought I would be brave and go for red lips, which despite what the picture may suggests, it lasted all night!

MUA eye shadow trio, MAC Omega eye shadow for brows, YSL mascara, Sleek contour palette, Topshop red lip liner, Revlon red lip balm stain, Maybelline baby skin primer, Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, Collection concealer, Rimmel brown eye liner, Burberry Weekend perfume.

Some people over did it on the outfit front. I was walking past people in flaw length glitzy ball gowns who had seats on level 4. I decided to not be someone who was going to pretend to be one of the celebs on the red carpet so went for a slightly less done up look. I opted for my Urban Outfitters tartan skirt, New Look cami, Miss Selfridge leather jacket and Topshop chelsea boots.

I didn't get to look at the red carpet outfits until I got home, but here are my faves. I especially loved Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora, Tanya Burr, and of course Pharrell Williams.

Ellie Goulding (Vivienne Westwood)

Lily Allen (William Vintage)

Fearne Cotton (Very)

Pixie Lott (DKNY)

Kimberly Walsh (Blumarine)

Pharrell Williams (Lanvin) and Helen Lasichanh

Rosie Huntington - Whiteley (Yves Saint Laurent)

Calvin Harris and Rita Ora (Prada)

Tanya Burr  (Coast)

Kylie Minogue (William Wilde)

British Female Solo Artist - Ellie Goulding
International Male Solo Artist - Bruno Mars
British Breakthrough Act - Bastille
British Group - Arctic Monkeys
